End the Stigma
Wristband Number: 782178
I learned of this movement today during a lecture at VT Orientation with my son. Everything I heard, was the reason I decided to get a tattoo a year ago that says “End the Stigma” to show my support, empathy, and advocacy for others dealing with mental illness, suicide survivors, and victims. I am often asked what it means. When I tell them, some have cried, some have hugged me, high fives, and shown gratitude. I felt every bit of the lecture and was compelled to share with Scott Geller. When I did, he gave me his bracelet. I am thankful I was in that lecture hall today.
