I met a friend over lunch and we discussed the career choices I was facing and she listened intently, waited and then asked a few simple questions. As I thoughtfully contemplated my answers my path forward became clearer. I was not told what to do but was coached to be mindful of what I wanted and to create space for the answer. My friend: Katherine C Knodel really demonstrated actively caring for me. I shared my experience at the ASSP PDC where I heard Dr Geller. I then gave her my wrist band as a token of my appreciation for her truly demonstrating active caring. Thanks KCK and Dr Geller!
